Exploring Heaven on Earth

Walt Disney World ~ Orlando, Florida

We chose to fly out of our local airport which is ONT. We flew out on Frontier airlines. If you plan ahead and know what you're getting its a great airline. If you don't plan ahead, and are expecting it not to be a budget airline you'll be disappointed. We planned ahead, picked our seats in the front row (worth the extra cost). We chose not to even hassle with the luggage and paid to check our bags. (*we did recently open an American Express gold card and received $100 in airline credit for fees so we used our American Express gold card and we're reimbursed so our checked bags were free.) We did bring on one small backpack. The Frontier airline flight attendants went out of their way to make our flight more comfortable. They had even saved the overhead bins for the first few rows for passengers sitting in row one, who didn't have room to put under the seat in front of them. The seats definitely didn't have padding like other airlines, however the pricing a

nd times Frontier Airlines offered made it worth the price. We would fly Frontier Airlines again. We had a great experience flying them.

Walt Disney World, have you ever been? We had never been and to be honest, we will take Disneyland over Walt Disney World any day. Disney parks yes are crowded packed to the max. At Disneyland, California and Disneyland Paris when we visited both parks we like to say it was organized chaos. While at the Walt Disney World Parks in Orlando Florida, we felt like it was just chaos. From the parking to entering the park, to the lines for rides, no organization. We did spend 3 days. One day at Hollywood Studios. Toy Story land was adorable and was fun to see the rides and buildings. Walking around seeing the buildings and decorations was nice. We visited Magic Kingdom which had similarities to Disneyland, California & Disneyland Paris. Our favorite was the world famous Jungle Cruise with jokes we hadn’t heard before that left us smiling. The third day we spent at Epcot which was fun to walk around the world. While we were there, the garden festival was happening and we were treated to view beautiful flower and garden displays with Disney characters. Our favorite country was Morocco. The reason we say that, we were in Morocco last July and saw the similarities. We truly felt we had crossed the ocean and were back in Morocco, the food, decorations, buildings and music made us feel as if we were back in the old Medina.

*Tip, we opted to stay at an airbnb about 15 minutes away. For 3 nights, we paid about $100 a night for our lodging we loved our Disney airbnb house. Staying in a Disney hotel was going to be at least twice as much. Even though we had to pay for parking, we still thought we got a deal. We do think, however at times it is nicer being within the park. However, in Orlando, with their being so many different parks, there is still a commute to the park you’re going to that day. Unless changing hotels each day (that would be a headache in itself).

At the end of the day, we have no desire to visit Walt Disney World again, we will stick to Disneyland & California Adventure in California. We felt the workers weren’t as friendly, or willing to help give direction. We understand now why only Disneyland is known as, “the happiest place on earth."
